For years this place was a staple of the Missoula creek scene, but after some shifty wood and summer wildfires Trout was left neglected. However, thanks to motivated efforts to clear log jams and a monumental 2017 winter Trout has again risen to greatness. A total of five groups journeyed into abyss in '17 but I can assure you that she has found her groove again. So put this classic on your radar for 2018 and it will surely provide.
